Behind the Lens

ABOUT Nina

Wife, dog mama, crafty DIY-er & photographer, fuelled by strong coffee with a killer sweet tooth.

Growing up, I was always interested in photography, but never really imagined it would become my career. I was always the one with the camera, even experimenting with my grandpa’s film camera. This hobby of mine started growing into a business while in school for Graphic Design. Safe to say… I was obsessed! Years (and a lot of hardwork and sleepless nights) later, my side hustle became my full time career! I’m grateful to wake up and do what I love, all the while meeting so many amazing couples and families along the way. I treasure the fact that I get a front row seat to so many love stories and milestones. I’m honoured to document them through photography. There is nothing I value more than family and I love that what I do is centred around just that! …the wedding cake isn’t too bad either (wink wink) !

My goal is a to photograph you in a way, that when you look at your photos, you see the best version of yourself. My photography style integrates lot’s of movement to breathe life into the image while bringing out your uniqueness and genuine connection. So pop the champagne, twirl in the dress, drop it low, let the kids run wild. You do you! My hope is to capture not only Instagram worthy pictures but more-so, photographs that you will cherish forever and proudly share with generations to come.

Getting lost in nature is my happy place. I love visiting new trails, camping (tent style), or really anything surrounded by trees or the water. Top the day off with a bonfire and I'm in my glory!

the outdoors

Bachelor(ette) Mondays, giant bowls of ice cream & Homesense trips that happen way too frequently!

Positano, Italy and Carmel By The Sea are my top two fav places I've visited.

The moment right after the ceremony when the couple looks at each other thinking "we did it!". That kind of excitement is contagious.
